General Description

IPA9950 is a user-friendly control program for the Mitel Communications platform. With IPA9950 it is possible to control the telephone functions with a Windows® Computer. It is also possible to take a quick search at the user database. The telephone list isn’t restricted to internal information only, this is made possible by the extensive database. That way the telephone operator has got access to all data he or she needs for delivering the call to the right person efficiently.

With IPA9950 the following tasks, among others, can be carried out:
• Answering and connecting calls
• Put calls on hold
• Release the connection
• Connect with ‘priority’
• Switch between day and night service
• Consult internal relations database
• Consult external relations database
• Record incoming calls on behalf of bomb alerts (optional)
• Display engaged devices (busy lamp field (BLF) indication)
• Display ‘Send Calls’ activated (BLF)
• Display queue information in relation to incoming calls
• Fast local or central network based Database
• Pop UP screen
• Icon on the Windows TASK BAR

By using passwords control functions are only accessible for the administrator. By connecting a printer it is possible for the administrator to print the database by making a selection

IPA9950 can be enhanced by adding one or more of the following modules:

• Active Directory module (LDAP)
• Braille extension module for the visually impaired
